2 New Bettas

A friend came over with a very late bday pressie for me................2 female betas

They are absolutely fine with my current female betta (Dolly), although Dolly did give a bit of attitude, which they took no notice of. They each have a hideaway to themselves, lots of plants but I am a bit dubious about one of them being female.

This is the unsure female;

Other female, not sure why she has silver on her gills;

Are they plakets?

The top one has some fascinating markings. On the top of her, running from her nose to her fin, is a sandy color strip . But she is bigger than the other two, so I am figuring she is older?

More than likely the case or just a big girl in general, one of my males had a sandy stripe right from the tip of his nose down to his tail

I'm surprised they are all getting on, although, my black neon tetras will be re-homed at some point.
