i decided to get 2 fancy gold fish with a starter tank (bad idea only thing good in there was air pump).. but i had forgotten to cycle tank so i got another tank 25 liter and powered filter, gravel and air block +plants. the first tank went very milky so i set other tank up and run it for 7h as i was very worry about poisoning my fish. after i looked it up on net and found out about cycles (which i understand now) my question is can i cycle my tank with my fish in there:
Atm i do 25% water change (water is tap but treated) every 2-3 day
feeding only once a day (a site suggested it for lowering ammonia levels till bacteria forms to eat it)
removing unwanted food
is there any more i can do or do differently
