are they to small for a betta? i think the one i have is a plastic penn plax. Its a weird shape and is a bluey colour. Was st wondering if 1g's are to small.Thanks.

Yes, they are too small. Betta would be better (excuse the pun) in 3gall minimum. Although less responsible people will tell you otherwise.

too small...

2.5 gallons would be betta... (no pun intended  )

Oh,Ive heard that its fine aslong as water is ok.I would love another betta but my dad says no more tanks but if i got something small enough i may get away with it.

I keep bettas in 1g tanks.. not the most spacious of living quarters.. lots of water changes needed too.

If you can get bigger, then go bigger.

Personally i wouldnt use less than 2.5g but you can use 1g but you need a lot of water changes etc 1g is the very bare min though and not ideal.

you probably could live in a box... you wouldn't enjoy it - or have fun... but physically you could

think of the fishy... dont buy just to buy

keeping fish in a 1 gallon tank? LOL to that, glad you posted, thats insane and extremely selfish, 1 gallon tank for a fish? whats the world coming to? next thing is peeps be keeping Betta's in a recycled coca-cola can, come on Peeps, make AN EFFORT, jeez

i know Betta's are supposed to be hardy and like less water movement, but pleeeeeeeeeze.......... dont take the p*ss!!!!!
