History

I have been keeping fish for about 3 1/2 years, before i had a small tank not planted with clown loaches, rams and bala sharks in, i then brought a house with the misses and wanted to upgrade the tank

My tank has a wide range of fish some not all strictly compatible but they have all been together for a year nearly now and nothings gone to fish heven apart from some little plattys and guppys at the start so am happy,

The mature fish in my tank are Bala sharks, clown loaches, and a few of the rams. Sharks and clown loaches are about 3 1/2


Species

2x Angels Koi i think? ony about 4 months old.
2x Glass fish
2x scisor tails

Anabantids\Labyrinth fish
2x Kissing gourami
2x Red Dwarf gourami
1x Siamese fighter/betta - velvet blue/purple

Catfish
2x Bristle Noseed cat fish both dark with spots like a leapod Ancistrus sp or are they Comon Pleco's?
3x Bronze Corydoras Aeneus
3x Leapord Corydoras Trilineatus

Cichlids
3x Rams cichlid
2x African Butterfly or 2x male Pelvicachrois signatus?

Cyprinids

2x Silver Bala Sharks
4x Clown loaches Botia
1X RED cherry barb adult

Others
2x odessa barbs male and 1x female (dont have a red stripe) ? correct?
some i am not sure all the rest i have no clue can not remember what there called. i.d for me please!


Planting
a mix of 50 plants and 2 moss bulbs 1 fake plant
rocks
bog wood
sunken ship, clown loache's den
sand based with blue decor gravel

at 24 seconds 2 fish come into shot, silver/grey with red stripe down them. they're odessa barbs.

ideally, a lot of the fish you have should be in bigger groups to make them happier, and im pretty sure that in an ideal world the clowns and bala sharks should be in a much larger tank. the videos not really clear enough to ID the plec, could be bristlenose but a photo is always better than video for id'ing.

Looks nice
Is the tank 190L or 427L?
I'd advise you to up the number of Cherry Barb, Bala Sharks, Corydoras, 'glass fish' and Scissortails to atleast 5. But if your tank is 190 litres, then don't bother because you are severely over-stocked at the moment (if the tank is 190L)

hello and welcome to the forum

Great looking tank and some nice fish.
First though youre siamese fighting fish needs to be taken out and given some care as his fins have been badly nipped by the other fish.
Youre bala sharks WILL get bigger so either you get a bigger tank or give them to someone who has youre plec looks like a common plec they get bigger much much bigger so he will need rehomeing too .
Apart from those fish you have a very good selection

I;d also echo that the bala sharks will get too big and do fair better in groups in large tanks

the plec is a bristelnose you can see the bristles at the front so he;ll be fine

i will seperate the fighter and keep an eye i am user its always looked like that from day 1 tho.


i know some will get big once to big i will re home and start growing more again i like the sharks etc

i have 4 inches from water level to top cover is there anything i can get that will sit on a dock anything i know off will eat fish such at turtle newt crayfish crabs etc,

i will get more scissor tales but not extra sharks them 2 have been with each other since birth and now several years old there peacful and the biggest one is the one who freaks out the most on maintenance day
