And preloved, gumtree and ebay. You never know what might turn up. Especially if any shops close or people sell up their fish houses :)

Alternatively if you end up buying new, 18 x 12 x 12 clearseal tanks are relatively cheap from pets at home. They are literally tanks though. They come with cheap flimsy hoods, no filter, no light etc.

they would be perfect, they r just for raising fry/young, i will be putting them inside my fish tank cabinet so they wont be seen, and as for hoods, i will just be putting a piece of glass on them as i wil be using 1 or 2 long light bulbs instead of individual light units.

just checked and pets at home dont sell 18 x 12 x 12, but there 18 x 10 x 10 will be perfect

So could you have 2 divided 3fters? Or just 4 18"? Just wondering to open up your possibilities :) Good luck finding something anyways

Edited: put the wrong lengths in  I'm half asleep today.

they will be setup so they 18" front to back so 10-12" wide, thet way i can fit more tanks in but they have the same footprint.

edit: just measured the inside of my cabinet and i only have 47" x 15" to work with, so can only have 4 x 15x10 but i may put a shelf in and have 2 rows of 4 x 15x10, i also have some shelve holes 13" high so i will put shelf there, gives room for light fitting, but not much room for maintenance. so after all that i may just end up with 4 x 15x10...lol
