I'm curious-where do you guys get your figures etc. from?
Is there some research somewhere? As a student I find interesting to follow, we are planning on getting some fish in asap (not heating as we're not heating the fish when our own heating isn't turned on yet to save costs!!) and going from there. I've read up now a fair bit on here on what the essentials are
One thing, the filter instructions I found on the net mentioned slowing it down ? Our filter (a juwel super flow I believe or something along those lines?) doesn't have a slow down function, do we just leave it on full time?
And should the water outlet have water coming out of it? the filter pump bit is half submerged when water comes out of the outlet nozzle
we are going to get gravel etc. tomorrow so will ask in the fish shop too.
Also discovered an air pump thing in there too (got tank and whole load of freegle :
-heater, filter, lights.)
ps-water is mostly in now so it's staying!!(and hasn't gone through the floor which is an advantage¬!)
