Hi, I have a 17 gallon tank at ph of 8 (that doesn't seem to be open for change) it has a fluval U2 filter, is this community ok? can I add anything? should I take anything out? what order shall I introduce them to the tank?
6 Glowlight tetras
3 Zebra nerite snails
4 Amano shrimp
2 Dwarf gourami
6 Khuli loaches

Lower the PH down to 7. Do you have sand substrate? If not, dont go with kuhlis.

I haven't yet, still planning the tank

1. I would of if I could, I have used peat and that PH down stuff, none of it has had any effect, but all the fish/invertabrets I've chosen have been specified to tollerate a ph of 8 in caresheets. And yes the substrate is childs play sand
