I just want to hear your opinions on what i should add  i like tangs and butterflys but whatever you suggest, i may consider!

So far im considering:

1x purple tang
1x regal tang
2 or 3 x yellow tang (idk because its going to be hard because of territorial issues, any tips??)
1x blue throat trigger
2x occelaris clown
1x midas blenny
1x flame hawkfish
1x copperband buttefly (This one is ehh because im scared it would eat my corals. Im thinking when i quarantine it firstly, im going to put some ugly brown zoas in the tank to see if it would nip at it, do you guys think this may work to determine if it would munch on my other corals in my display when i put the copperband in??)

any opinions or suggestions is appreciated!

thanks!!

I love Triggers, but is the blue throat reef safe?

The Copperband - the problem is not going to be will it nip at your corals but will it eat. Needs to go into a mature tank and to be honest I probably wouldnt buy one unless I could get it from a reefer who assured me it eats

similar tank volume wise to my new one :)

seen quite a few blue throat triggers in reefs, aswel as crosshatch ones. like the look of some of those fish. im with seffie on the copperband though

Sargassums, Cross Hatches and Blue Throats are a reef safe with caution fish ;) they get to big for mine though :(

Went to my lfs today and what did I spy but the cutest blue throat trigger - never seen one in there before. He was blowing the substrate looking for inverts

hey guys, i have a small blue throat in a reef right now in my 65G, thats why i quickly upgraded to a larger tank to fit his swimming needs. So far he hasnt touched any corals (that im aware of) and is eating happily, one thing i worry though is that he may switch his behaviour to eating corals once he arrives into the 150G.

I've once had a reef safe emperor angel, i guess this hobby is a bit of a gamble. Having said that, i will try to look for a reef safe copperband from a reef tank from a local,as i will remember what you guys told me in mind.

lastly, to be honest i thought i was going to be flamed for wanting too many fish in my 150G. Does my stocking look appropriate? I actually thought i went overboard a bit with the tangs. If so, i can take some fish out but i would love the school of yellow tangs, does anyone have any tips on avoiding territorial issues with them?? cause im just thinking on adding them all at the same time (the tangs). Also, if u know any sort of cool fish out there, please suggest because my stocking is kinda common if u know what i mean :good: .

thanks!!

thing with keeping groups of yellows, is once they reach adult size they tend to bicker between themselves, some of the huge show tanks have to swicth yellows for juvies every so often to stop them attacking each other. For this reason il only be keeping a single yellow, and a couple of other in my new tank/

hmm, i see... thanks for the help guys, once tank is done cycling ill let u know how the tangs go :)
