15 Gallon Stocking

Errr... I must have missed this before, but you're keeping an angelfish in a 15g? They can get quite big -- over 6 inches. They need about 30gallons. Sorry I never noticed it before. Maybe something else... if you get the flame tetras I would suggest a male Betta. You would have to be careful witht ht platies though, and be ready to move it. It might work out though. Worth a shot, I think.

No now I am getting a 29 gallon instead. I found that they are having a great sale at petco right now on them. It will be a great tank!

Would it be okay if I added two rams to this stocking? The stocking again is...

1 pearl gourami

1 gold bristle nose pleco
2 rams possibly?

I see.... That sounds like a great stocking for a 30g tank!

EDIT:: Just try to add the fish slowly (eg. week 1: 3 platies. week 2: pleco. week 3: 6 Flame Tetras. week 4: 1 Angelfish. Week 5: 5 Cories. Week 6: 1 Pearl Gourami + 2 Rams. That's how I would do it.

I think thats way too many fish for a 29g..

the pearl gourami alone should get to 6''..
an angelfish too just sounds like trouble..
then adding 2 rams just makes it worse..

I would stick to either a pearl gourami, 2 rams, or an angelfish.. but definitely not all of them..

Pearl Gouramis only get to 4 inches. Rams only get to 3 inches. I think it's fine, as long as there's efficent flitration and weekly water changes.

I always do weekly water changes. But I wouldnt want it over stocked... Which do u think would be the best for it out of the pearl gourami, 2 rams, and angel fish. I personally would love to have a angel fish but...

I heard the minimum size tank for a angel fish is a 29gal. So would this be ok? I would really like a gourami though... I already have a honey gourami in my other 29 gallon so I guess I pick angel fish...
