Yes, I did decide on wilds. I love them so much and they are so pretty. My tank will be stocked nicely and I can't wait to get them. And I enjoy how I know a breeder who will help me along the path, thanks WildBetta. It means alot you trust me to (eventually

) have some of your beautiful fish in my care.
Dosing liquid Co2 will at best prevent good growth of any type of Vallisneria, and most likely kill it off likewise quite a few shrimp keepers who also dose with liquid Co2 have reported deaths to their population of shrimp

You can acclimate them to it by doing 1/4 dose for a week, then 1/2 dose, then 3/4 dose, and then full dose. I also decided against wild bettas for a community tank, really not sure what Im doing with it anymore

Hmm, I am choosing between 3 species- Endlers Livebearers, Betta Albimarginata, or Betta Falx. I love them, could probably keep a pair or reverse trio of either bettas in my tank with 7-9 corydora habrosus.

Now to choose what sand!

Instead of plants this summer I need to replace this filter. Doing a mini canister, the Rapids one. Im also doing light sand and a frosted film background, as I love how DaizeUK's "Eternal Cycle" tank looks. Very bright and cheery,

No matter what stocking I do Im doing a bottom feeder, either Corydora habrosus or Pangio khuliis. Im not sure which :)

I decided Im not really ready for wild bettas for now, even though I was up for the challenge I dont think I will have enough money to provide them with a proper home. So for them I have decided Im stocking with endlers and black kuhlis. I chose black because my sand and background will be light, so lots of contrast that I think will be very cool. If I do shrimp I will only do a few to start, and rehome as needed. I want to have black crystal.

Apparently the filter I wanted leaks, so Im doing an aquaclear. I didnt want HOB, but I have never heard one thing negative about it, so I will deal with it. I do like the media choices though, and quite cheap.

I will have to cycle the tank, mostly because my media from the Aqueon is the original plastic bits. I think I can fit about 1/3 of it in there so Im hoping it will take 1-2 weeks. This will be a mini fish in cycle. Once I have money I will set up who I want to buy fish from, get a price and start the full 3 ppm cycle. This should only take 2-3 weeks. Coachette, the pond snails, and the shrimp (if I have any left, I have 3 now) will live in a bucket with either a cheap heater or a heat lamp for this time. Daily water changes.

Due to the fact that my webcam is broken and Im buying a new one soon, plants will be help off. It is terrible but my jungle vals are doing well and one have 4 runners, and I guess the runners are so happy one has a runner off of it. Mind you this runner is only 3 weeks old and about 4 inches tall with 5 leaves. Guess Im doing something right.

This summer I will be painting my tank stand white, finally. I actually should replace it as its meant for a 10 gallon tank, and just has a peice of plywood on it measuring 12x24 lol. So the whole tank will be bright and cheery.

Im also doing DIY co2! Yay? Not sure. Im quite scared, but some algae wont hurt anything. I will havr x 1.25 liter bottles with yeast and sugar and whatever. Alasse said instead of a ceramic diffuser to use wooden airstones, which is cheap and smart. Im freaking out over this and Im going to do alot of reading up on it for a while because Im so scared, but I want to pretend I have mastered it before I try it.

Also, could a mod please rename this to "The 15 Gallons of Project"? Its  never going to end as a project, and its been 7 months already!

Sorry for the text and no pictures! The bare bottom makes it hard for pictures.

Edit- I messed up wording

I've briefly tried wooden airstones and found they got mucked up very quickly.  I've actually had better luck with ceramic diffusers, you just have to make sure that all your seals are really airtight.

Is there any diffuser that works?

Yes the nano glass diffusers work with yeast.  This sort (not my pic):

Also I've got a Fluval ceramic diffuser working with my 35L although the pores are a bit finer so it takes a bit longer to build up pressure to push the gas through, but the effect is a finer mist.  It does work though.

My photos may all go corrupt as Im moving them around on FB, Im sorry if they do, will repost :)

I have to do this here, as this is my only on going thread.
