wow pretty amazing :good:

i love that wood, ....... and that moss, ......... and them plants,......... and that gravel, ......... and the whole darn tank!! :)

Hi,
Is there co2 in that? it looks great as well (is that a frog swimming on the right?)

Well what can i say its rubbish  NO! only joking its fantastic and the name go's well, i can honestly say I'm impressed.
I like the two pieces of wood and the way they have a flat surface which points in the same direction, and the moss on it is superb.
like you say it should look a hundred times better when the moss fills out.

I would look into pruning, to try bush the stem plants out a little and keep them low, if they get to much higher it might look a little messy and ruin the sense of space you have.

What sort of fert regime have you got going or planing, i would be worried about over dosing, with the main plant being moss.

Top job Simon

I really like it :good: - a lot. Give it a few days and post another pic (cleaned up & background straight ;))
Would like to see how this develops.

Nice one FKNM, great stuff,

I think its good to name an aqua scape, it kind of gives it a reason to "be", to have a purpose and to develop, and when it looks just how you want it you can say this is my nature aquarium " woodland wings" , which ide say is a good name for your scape.

I would like to see something in front of the nearest "Wing" theres allot of flat wood there and the plants that are in font look like low foreground plants, maybe some hair grass would work well :dunno: , Its a taste thing, the right wing is very dominant in my eyes.

Very nice overall and a GREAT name :good:

I love it. I can't wait until the moss fills in on the right and maybe try to crawl up the wood a bit. I'll deffinatley be watching this thread!

Hey FKNM,

Nice scape, plants and things look good too. This is probably just my eye being funny bit I think the wood is poss a little to dominating? and having both at the same angle looks a bit odd? Also (desperately trying not to p**s on you fire here!) think they are poss a bit to steep? I like what you've done with the moss only on one side but in 'nature' it would only really grow on one side if is was at a lower angle :) lowering it might also help reduce the divide it creates between the left and right sides? If you lowered the front one and left the back that might help.

As I said this is probably just my eyes being funny and its always more difficult to see things from photos, it probably looks loads better in real life.

Think you're right about needing something on the right, nothing to tall or big but something to break up the moss a bit.

Sam :)

Well if thats the look you were going for great! yeh once the moss fills out that'll help.

Sam

I've been sitting here trying to come up with something useful to say -- but I'm wiped out and can't think of anything other than it looks really great! I love the wood.

Ive had a thought, the more I look at this tank the more I think the wood is fine, now I think you should leave it like it is and just build p the plants on the left, so they are very dense and the wood appears to 'emerge' from them, think it could look quite cool :)

Wood looks fine to me in this setup, i guess it depends on how you use it, it probably wouldn't work for something else, but i think it works well for this, nice job FKNM :)

Yeah and i think a Ricca carpet would look so good on the right.
