Tank set up on stand

One with approx 30 gallons water to check for leaks (just to be on safe side!)
Also some decor/slate added probably not final set up

Bought a Tetratec Ex1200 for it, waiting for it to turn up.

As for stock, not sure yet.
 
Got a fire mouth and 2 Tbar cichlids already so il probably get some more.

You must have extra long arms to get to the bottom ....
Or you could just put a small child in it! :whistle: It could the the special "swimming fishtank game"

As for stock, not sure yet.

I have two Questions,

1. where are you planning to put the tetratec?
2. isn't the tetratec EX1200 a bit on the small side or are you planning on running two filters?
(especially as you will be keeping messy fish like cichlids)

I thought that too. I would have more than just one 1200, personally.
 
From what people tol dme to get on here so too late as its bought

i am also running an undergravel filter too
 
Filter turned up today i am staggered by the size of it, believe me it will be enough for this tank. :hyper:

I have that filter on a 60USG and wouldn't personally use it on anything bigger than an 80USG,

It is a top filter tho :good:
