126Usg Tank

I really can't imagine a FX5 on a 240L  Maybe it's because my tank is a cube, but the flow is excellent out of it, such that my fish get pushed when they swim in front of it. I really don't think I need another. Just imagining it on my 50g and I think it would be absolutely mental
I shall add a powerhead though for extra litres per hour.

Anyway, yes the FX5 is a great filter - worth the money :good:

do you think
1 Gold sev
1 chocolate cichlid
10 rosy barbs
5 geos
3 whiptails
1 Bichirs
3 BN
3 pictus

would work? i decided to drop the lima just incase it fancies my bns as food.

What about silver dollars or columbian or buenos aries tetras?

If Chocolate cichlids are anything like Oscars, and I think they get to the same size, then I don't think you could get away with any tetra/small barb for long. Rosy's only max out about 2" I think, so would be lunch. Rainbows very risky. Possibly adult Bosemani, but this would set you back a few quid.

I think silver dollars would be your best bet for a schooling fish with your proposed stocking. I was going to get some, but got another cichlid instead

If there as aggressive as oscars then i wont get one i dont want to risk ny bns.

Oscars aren't aggressive, they're just big, clumsy and very greedy  They will eat anything they can fit into their mouths, but that's just natural for them :good:

chocolates are nothing like oscars other than slightly in appearance and size but equally sevs get the same size as oscars and again nothing alike.

Rainbows should be okay due to their speed i suggested the dollars and tetras to keep it SA haha :p But yeah red rainbows would look good as would any of the larger ones, auralis barbs and denison barbs are other ideas

I still wouldnt want to risk a bn with one. Im trying to talk my mum into letting me keep the 30G and keeping the BNS + fry in there. Ive always wanted a oscar so do you think if i can leave the BNs out i could change the chocolate cichlid for a oscar?

I think i might go for red rainbows then i prefer them over tetra.

I wouldnt do an oscar in there you would have to change the stocking quite a bit its usually recomended to have 75g for one oscar and then 150g when you can start to add tank mates.

Is that in a 100g? Seems to be pushing it a bit.
