125 Gallon Just Got

I'm excited I picked up a 125 us gallon tank with a good price today. I'm open to ideas on what to put in it

So, if you had an empty 125 what would you do?

Yes, and if I told you what I paid you would be more jealous... but... I mean what fish would you put in it.

Me personally... I would have an Oscar or a really nice blue Flowerhorn or some other large 'pet' cichlid. But it would be a very 1 dimensional tank. All depends on what you want and what you prefer. Something like Mattlee's Oscar tank or ChilliPeppers tank would suit me perfectly... But you may want a planted tank with 200 cardinals?! lol.

hmm, i guess maybe something cool looking..maybe a few demasoni cichlids if you can find them. a couple colorful looking discus might be nice too, depending on how much you want to spend right away

Do you mean both together?

Don't worry. I know I'm not experienced enough for discus.

I would get a big wet pet Central American cichlid like some kind of Vieja I like Black Belts the best especially when they are nice and white. Vieja Regani is also equally stunning! A single Vieja and maybe a pair of smaller CA cichlids would be awesome! And then maybe a group of Buenos Aires Tetras or a smaller growing species of Silver Dollars and a trio of Pictus Catfish
