Hi all.

Here is my fairly new 120g. The tank is 3 months old but the inhabitants vary and are as old as one year. Do you notice the splash of Africa? If you do, you'll win a new car.

Comments always welcome

Very Nice!!! A tank with Sevs, chocs and geo-esque species can never fail IMO

Starting to wonder if a black background is the way forward too

Congo tetra?

Very nice looking set-up.

YOU WIN A NEW CADILLAC!!!!!! I'll send the paperwork immediately! Although I guess I need to check the fine print as what Nelly says is true... these are no doubt North American African fish. Hummmmm I'll get back to you on the judges decision.

Thank you for the comments. And yes, 10 congos, 6 adult and 4 sub adult but I'm thinking about reducing the numbers to 6 or 7. I don't know yet. I love them but it may be a bit too many as yes this is a 4x2x2.

Meaning, not good? When my finances settle a bit I really want to get some of those 3-D panels. I'm also thinking about some limited and nice fake plants to cover some of the intakes and heaters.

Any other thoughts?

P.S. Everyone I posted more pictures of the inhabitants in the cichlid section.

Lol, I was going to say the Anubias!

ps. very nice! Love the whole look of it, is it just one choc? Been reading up on those recently and they are beautiful

Oh no. This is what happens when you don't plan a contest out very well. B-) I didn't think about the plants... or the wood (but that is from southeast asia I think). Ummm I'll get with the judges and check the fine print. Who knows, maybe we have a second car somewhere. :D

Yes that is one chocolate in there... Snickers. Very cool little guy/gal but growing very fast. Verifiable pig when it comes to food. Sometimes you get reports that they are shy, but mine definitely is not shy and he is very interactive with me... of course for food but his eyes watch me carefully. They are supposed to be big and peaceful, but can hold their own if pushed. Right now the tank is very peaceful and he/she bothers no one and is bothered by none.

Thanks for the comments.

LOL  I only want it if it's got 5 doors and is cheap to insure! :good:

If I ever get the chance to upgrade my upgrade I would love to own a chocolate! But they get too big for the size of tank I plan to upgrade to next (ie 5x2x2 ish) which is such a shame. Ah well! I'll just perve over your instead! :good:

No I mean I love how it allows your eyes to focus more on the fish and also seemingly allows their colours to be more prominant.

I have a dull rock effect background on my tank atm which I have been meaning to change for ages,
so am seriously considering just going with a plain black one like yours
