120: 48 x 24 x 25
125: 72 x 18 x 23

I like the length vs the depth of the 125... but in the end, locally the pricing for a 120 is $400 vs $600 for a 125.

My stocking is a giant school of cories, 6 angels and a large school of tetras.

Which would you get?

I'd get the 125g I have the same tank. IMO its better for the fish you currently have. I might consider the 120g if you have some huge fish and needs more room to turn.

Just wondering about the depth of the 125, given that angels are planned?

angels will want as much height as possible, but a huge school of cories will look stunning in a low, long tank. i much prefer long, low tanks, they seem to scape so much better. and being a big catfish fan, i wanted as much floor space as possible. its a shame the price difference is so much.

The 120 is taller for angels, but only by 2"...

Sigh. I really really want the long 125. :(

Ignoring $$$, would definitely go for the 6 foot tank as opposed to the 4 foot tank. Footprint of the tank is the decider for me.

23 or 25" high makes very little difference, the big difference here is the length and depth.

Considering the angels, I'd go for the 120. The cory will be perfectly happy in a 4 ft tank, but the angels I think would be a bit cramped in the other.

I would go for the 125 long as it is basically two feet tall anyway so I think that the Angels will be fine. Plus all of the fish will appreciate the extra length.
