its all my fault ive been messing about with the tank and moved my intake pipe to the filter and place it next to my heater, poor little discus must have swam into the gap and got stuck, and now he's dead....

SOOO, im off to the fish shop 2moro to console myself, shall i try again, i love the fish so much it just broke my heart to lose him, im thinking of buying a replacement the same color to honor him so i wont forget him.

so shall i buy a group of discus this time and start up a little gang? or just keep the one again?

You need to give the tank dimensions (how many gallons) for people to be able to give advice as to whether or not a group would be better than one.

Perhaps the other people are like me: They see a thread title that only says "my favorite fishy died," but do not know what advice to give about discus.

I figured that I would be more helpful by not saying anything, but maybe I'll just tell you to Google it; see what other people say about discus in groups.
