Hi guys,

This is my first betta! I love him! He is a curious little guy! Not shy at all!
I don't think he minds the slight trickle from the HOB filter either!

This is his 3rd day with me!

can i make a small suggestion? add some java moss balls, bettas love to rest on them and i think they would fit well in your tank.

I do have some spare Java Moss in another tank but I can't seem to get it into a ball! It just comes apart and then floats about in pieces

Any advice?

I think you have to let them grow and use a net to keep it together. Not totally sure.

hi there, nice .new boy you got there. Add a few more plants too...vallis is ideal, they love lots and lots of plants. also does that tank have a lid...i cant see if it does ...Bettas can jump and many have landed on the floor behind their tanks, with their owner wandering where they have gone. if there is, not to worry, just my glasses needing adjustment

Thanks for the advice about the moss! I've ordered 2 Marino Moss Balls so hopefully the Betta will like them instead!

LilyRose no need to worry My tank does have a lid! It is only a condensation tray but I don't think my Betta will try and jump into it! I have some Vallis in my goldfish tank but it doesn't seem to be growing at all! I had to trim it in half due to the leaves all dying! I think I will just load the tank with alot of Elodea Densa to keep nitrates as low as possible whilst giving my Betta cover!
