Now, I know what your thinking. My stocking would be horrible for a planted tank, but I'm not so sure. My fish really do not dig a lot, and I'm just trying to imagine an oscar swimming through a field of amazon swords
But anyway, the tank's dimensions are 48"x18"x"28" I know the tanks pretty tall but I think it won't be much of an issue in a low tech tank.
Now my question is, what would be the proper lighting to make a tank of this size and depth grow good? How about 2x65watt Compact Flourescent 6700k bulbs? I found a 48" Coralife Aqualight fixture that meets those needs perfectly. It would give me around 1.2wpg.
And ideas would be great.
