100g tank to set up

Ello, a friend of mine really wants a fish tank in this new unit thingy he is fitting however he doens't know how to care for fish and goes away a fair bit so ive offered to maintain it for him as i cant fit a 100g tank in my house.

The only brief is hed rather have fewer bigger fish than a load of tetra or something so any ideas

Im thinking an oscar but haven't a clue what else?

BTW its UK gallons hes getting so dunno what that is in US but its bigger i think

Lots of great alternatives besides Oscars out there, and so many nicer and cooler ones too!

Jack Dempseys, Severums, Acaras, Red Devel's, Texas, Hypselecara (chocolate), Pike cichlids, Guapotes...

Well if it's 100g, you can get an Oscar, a Jack Dempsey and a Sev!

I'd get a Oscar, Texas, and a Jack dempsey. There is a Texas at My LFS right now but I doubt he would fit and he would probly be too aggressive but....... maybe. Ill have to make another thread about it.

No budget yet its a case of his annual work bonus is coming through so hes getting a cabinet made and whatever he wants hell get eventually
