100 Gallon Tank

People breed convict and livebearers all the time for treats for large fish. It's better than convicts breeding so much that you just get sick of it and siphon them into the toilet. Or just let the filter suck them up and not attempt to rear the fry. Let's face it, they breed so much, there's not really anything you can do with the fry after a few months. Let them feed a bigger fish rather than feed the toilet or the filter intake. And it's better for your big fish than feeding them disease riddn malnourished feeder goldfish from the petstore.

Only joking now, but with this logic I should start breeding mice for my cat :hey:
Although blood worms will do as well, as he goes nuts over the blood worms for my fish. He licked the whole plate when I left it unattended to defrost

Yeah, that's why I personally don't breed fish. Don't have anything I can do with the fry.

Your cat ate all the bloodworms? Oh my god that's so gross

On the plus side, tank is clean and appropriate size for the fish, and the fish look healthy. I really like the Electric Blue Dempsey. How long is he?

Good morning and welcome to the forum! :good: I bet you never thought you'd get these responces when you posted your videos! This is a touchy subject. Alot of the members don't believe in using live feeders. I used to feed my oscars feeders years ago, but after getting internal parasites from bad feeders, I quit buying them. My brother in law has a guppy tank that is out of control. No exageration, he has atleast 500 guppies in that tank and NEVER does a water change. I got tired of looking at it one day when he wasn't home and took two net dips of fish out of the tank, you couldn't tell I took any! When I got home I did a head count and had 210 guppies. I kept the best looking males and females and set them up a tank. The rest went into my angelfish tank for a snack. There are times when making unwanted fry into food is more humane than letting them suffer in an overcrowded tank.
