I just realized that if I have glowlight tetras in the tank and if I ever want to breed the ram/ apistos would the glowloghts eat the fry?

The male should guard them and keep the tetra away from the fry until there big enough not to get aten but they odd one might stray off and get eaten. If you really dont want to risk any getting eaten the 8 galaxy rasbora or ember tetra might be a better option.

I know a lot of you have told me not to put in a pair of rams but I have found someone who has a dozen or so blue ram fry at about 1.25" and is selling them for $5 each is that a good deal. I am probably do this stocking...

2 blue rams
6 glow light tetras

Edit: I forgot to ask could I put like 6 gohst shrimp (one of my lfs sells 6/$1) in as well or would they just get eaten?

My deal I had with lfb has fallen through... I can wait a month though for the next ones to be ready. I was just curious would it be worse to put in a pair of kribs, ( just wondering as I've read some places online that the minimum for a pair is 10)
