    My three tanks

My three tanks - 36 gallon bowfront community tank with mixed rasboras, tetras, barbs, kuhli loaches and corys; 10 gallon with guppies and a few shrimp, and 5 gallon red rili breeding tank. All the tanks have at least one nerite and lots of ramshorns.

    Most difficult fish to catch!

Kuhli loaches are devils. Slippery little buggers.

What's the coolest and/or most useful aquarium related thing(s) you have bought.

Turkey baster. That dollar store turkey baster gets used more than all my expensive fish-store stuff combined.

Whats the stupidest/most useless fish related thing you have bought.

I bought a gravel vacuum thing (electric, so it was kind of spendy). I have planted tanks, LOL. I don't even have room to use it and it isn't worth setting it up to use it for pumping water for water changes - it takes longer to set up and get going than it takes me to use the hand-bulb thing to...

There is just nothing cuter than pygmy corys

THIS is why I love pygmy corys so much. Two of mine have taken to chilling on leaves. Zoom in on the circled area in this picture, and you can see two of them (there's a couple resting on the "sandpit" in the middle of the front, too, but something about sleeping on the leaves is just too cute...

Betta tank mates. What to keep and what not to (if any at all)

I kept my short-finned koi betta, Pugsley, in a 36-gallon community tank with rasboras, tetras, corys, and kuhli loaches for awhile. He loved it, and he was fine...until he wasn't. He started harassing the corys for their pellets, and then he just turned into a complete jerk, and I evicted him...

Hi! New here, but not to the hobby. Multiple tank syndrome is real!

This is my new 5.5 gallon shrimp tank. It isn't aquascaped at all yet, as I had to move them quickly from the leaking 3 gallon, and I wanted everything stable before I started messing it up too much. The shrimp seem pretty happy with their new home.

Thanks! It's a new piece, just boiled briefly and added as-is. I actually got really lucky and found that at a big-box pet store. The fish all love it, as do the nerite snails.

I need to take some new pictures: this is from before I evicted the betta and redid my bamboo. You can see my big school of tiny rasboras in the upper left.

Hi! New here, but not to the hobby. Multiple tank syndrome is real!

Hi all. My name's Geni, I live in Washington state, and I have multiple tank syndrome. It all started (again) about five years ago. I'd had a tank, a 29 long, for a couple of decades. I started out with frogs and salamanders in a terrarium, and gradually transitioned it to half-and-half with...
