Yes, my filter in my tank broke so I had to replace it with the new one.

I put a new Fluval u2 filter in my tank about 6 weeks ago and I have since had cloudy water, I believe it is called bacteria in bloom but how long will this last? I did a part water change two weeks ago but the cloudiness is still there, what should I do?....Thanks.
