really? .. i've just caught it and put it into the bigger fish tank so maybe the stress from catching it has done that then?    thanks for clarifying it for me.

The fire eel is about 8-10 inch, not sure how old. I have a roughly 400 litre tank.

Can any tell me where i can get prawn's for my fire eel, can they eat just ordinary frozen prawns from the supermarket? or do they need special ones?    Would they prefer live prawns or frozen?   Also, same questions for earthworms, where can i buy there from? can i use worms from the garden...

  I don't have a water testing kit, however I will take some water to my LFS and ask them to do a test tomorrow, as obviously they are closed now.    I'll do another water change now, how much would you suggest? a large water change or small water change
