I keep my male bettas in live bearer community tanks; 29g, 55g and 45g. I did have one who lived a happy life in my 125g angelfish tank. I also have a sorority tank of females which is a 25g. Pictured is the guy I have in my 55g. He lives with numerous guppies and 3 yoyo loaches.

I have at least three mollies with these round bumps. Is this lymphocystis? If so, will it just run its course? This is a closed breeding tank; no new fish have been introduced; however, I did put some cherry shrimp in there. Anyone have an idea? Thanks, Holly

I had eight female bettas. They were in a tank that had Molly's and Corey's. It was a 29-gallon show and I believe I had a lot more fish than what you are talking about. Just keep a good eye on the parameters of course.

I have had tanks with just female bettas in it, and I never had any problems with the girls. And I think what you are planning sounds great.
