WHIRLPOOL WAREHOUSE FIRE, PADDOCK WOOD

This is a couple of photos of the fire at the Transvesa Whirlpool warehouse in Paddock Wood, Kent, yesterday as seen from the front of my house. It was like a pyroclastic cloud!!!!!!!!! Never seen anything like it before.

The smoke cloud could be seen over 30 miles away!!!!

Blimey, julibob. Must be horrible living so close, I heard there was a fire there but wasn't expecting that.

Yes it was quite scary, the fire was about 1/4 mile from my house and at one point you could see the flames from my back garden. They said they were about 50ft tall!!!!!!!

That. That is just awesome, too bad you didn't get any pics of the devestation. BTW had that been a pyroclastic flow you'd be nothing but a heap of carbon by now.

Here you go, a pic I took this morning of the burnt out shell!!! It doesnt look that impressive, but the building is actually 1/4 mile long !!!!!
