Tetra Cardinal Getting Sick

Hope so in this case. I'd try a heavy med (pref. Antibiotic). If it's getting worse / no better than it must be real NTD which means euthanising fish. Sorry I can't really help you out.

You have been a great help buddy!

Thanks alot and have a great weekend.

Hello,

Things are getting ugly :-(

I have separated 6 tetras, 2 of them already died.

Meanwhile I noticed one more tetra dead on the main tank, and two more with similar sympthoms.

Now, the dicease seems to spread to other fish, my apistogramme has swollen lips.

People any help is deeply appreciated!

Arghhh. Did you use any meds yet? So it sure is no real NTD. Still thinking of Columnaris. Anyone agree with that ?

Hello,

I only have done the treatament with the 6 tetra cardinals.
I did the Potassium Permanganate bath, and also added some salt to the water.

I am not sure if it helped, but at least 4 of them are still alive.

I dunno what to do now, but I am afraid all my tank is infected with Columnaris.

I live in Portugal(Lisbon).

I am now more convinced this shouldn't be Columnaris, or at least, not only columnaris.
There is a tiny white worm (not anchor worm), on the cardinals.
