When I had my 60L SW I ran a bubble magus and I refuse to use anything else. Far the best skimmers out there.

Bubble Magus or Reef Octopus for HOB or other models are the best in my opinion with Reef Octopus being my favorite.

Thanks for the info, both the Bubble Magus and the Reef Octopus look good. Slightly above budget but lets do this right first time eh?

Having gone the "affordable" skimmer route I've learned my lesson. If buy the best the first time you only cry once but if you buy crap you cry that it's crap and you cry when you have to replace it! I did.
