Plant help

I have 2 tanks ,the plants in both are growing well, but in one tank (4ft) I've noticed black on the leaves ,its only appeared in the last 2weeks ,I'm doing water changes.

Am I feeding them to much, could that cause it?

What can I do to get rid of it, other than replacing the plants?

hey cat im not sure but this might help you out ( if you havent read the articles yet ) look int othe nutrient deficiency syndrome hopefully what the article says will work and solve your problem, but somebody correct me if im wrong

Hey Ken that site is great,the rive tank that guy made is amazing.

The plant index as pictures to them as well.

Are the actual leaves going black, or is the black stuff something that is on the surface of the leaves, something you can scratch off?

It's amazon sword i think, just took 2 leaves of it, on one leaf the black seemed to come of,the other leaf were the black had been, the leaf had gone thin and split.
