Well my boy Finley whom I've had for a year now, has been laying on the bottom a lot for about a week. The thing is, is that he looks fine, not skinny, no raised scales, eating fine. There appears to be nothing wrong with him. He used to be VERY active, he's the boy that bites my finger all the time when I feed him peas. When I go to feed him he swims to the top, but he does so by using mostly the front of his body. His caudal fin doesn't move when he swims anymore. He acts like the back of his body is paralyzed. He doesn't act like he has to use extra strength to get to the top for food, but I know he has to be. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of moving him to a new tank, but then again I don't want to stress him out since he seems to be doing well in the current situation despite all of this?? I'm really at a loss on this one. It's like if they have symptoms and get a disease you treat them and it's fairly simple. But I mean what am I supposed to do about this. He is completely fine, everytime I go to the tank he swims to the top, so should I just leave him be?
