Opinions On What Tropical Fish To Get

the tank is 90 cm x 30cm x 30cm I have 10 cardinal tetras that we put in 5 days ago as a start  I just want hardy easy fish .Would a 1 opaline gourami be ok or could I put 2 or 3 in with them  I read there was a barb ( that looked like a tiger barb) but didn't nip fins (sorry can't remember the right name) or could you suggest other fish ,and how long should I wait before adding more fish

The barb you are talking about would be the Pentazona Barb (aka the Five-Banded Barb).
 
You could have a pair of opalines in the tank as well, but it would have to be a pair, rather than 2 males, as the males would almost certainly squabble quite badly. The other option would be a shoal of 6 Pentazona Barbs. You couldn't really do both Pentazonas and Gouramis (not even one Gourami & 6 Pentazonas).
