need more tropicals

Hi all,
My new aquarium is now up and running, and with the current fish now settled.

I can't remember what fish I have, but there are two small cats, who I have had for a few years, one big catty, which is very very shy, two silver sharks and about six small fish who just make the numbers up.

as most of these seem to keep to the bottom and middle of the tank, can you recommend some fish to populate the top of the tank?

I have a Rio 125, no live plants.

Depending on how big your tank is all the following swim at or near the surface

Danios
White Cloud Mountain Minnows
Hatchet Fish
Panchax
Halfbeaks
Gouramis (?)

Any livebearers; hatchetfish.
