Little tear in Spaz's fin :(

Hey all,

Well I had a a plastic rock structure with some fake plants sticking out of it but I noticed my betta Spaz tore his fin because I noticed a little tear right in the middle of it so I decided to remove the rock. Will he be allright? It's pretty small but you can still see it. Would something like betamax fix this?

if i'ts not too seroius of a wound the betta will usually heal by itself. If the rip reached his body or something you might be wary about finrot and things like that. My betta recently got a huge chunk of his tail ripped off, and after a week (approx), it's starting to heal, during this time i didn't do nething but keep the temperature constant, feed him better food, and do good water changes.

Persoanlly i try to stay out of the meds area unles i really have to hope he feels better though, betta's are really a lot tougher than they look
