O.K. after a discussion in chat why don't we arrange a day to meet somewhere in the U.K.? kinda like a day out sort of thing.
I realise that we are all spread far and wide but I'm sur that with enough planning and advanced warning most of us could meet somewhere in the U.K. maybe for a weekend in a seaside resort or something? what do you guys think? how much notice would you want? any suggestions for a place? I live in kent and think skegness would be the sort of area to go to, but will go with the majority, budget allowing of course.
If we can get this together it would be great to put faces and voices to screen names

I'll travel to anywhere if I get about a months notice to sort out the finances!

Well, I am in Newcastle but don't drive. Notice would be needed for train tickets and so on.

There must be somewhere central-ish for most people. Birmingham? Midlands area? Wiltshire?? There is LOADS to do and see here...............stonehenge, Avebury, crop circles, Glastonbury... we are a little !!!!

as for meeting up in midlands you have drayton mannor or alton towers theme parks both are great fun

alton towers sounds good to me
but isn't the hotels there expensive?

The Alton Towers hotel itself is expensive.

There are loads of BnB's and hotels in surrounding areas though.

That's quite local for me 15 miles ish!
