i have a fish who is showing all the signs of pregnancy,
just wondering how long does it last because at first , i thought she was dying until
i came on here , i dont know what type she is and i cant upload a picture.
so any help would be great thanx :/
 
hi it depends if its a livebearer.....most fish lay or scatter eggs...do you know what type of fish it is?
how long have you had it?
what size tank?and tank mates?
is your tank fully matured?

The tank is 35ltr and is fully mature i have no idea what she is
i have her isolated in a 15ltr tank now so im just waiting

sword tail
platy
do any of them look like yours
she looks like a platy but the centre of her tail is longer she has been
like this for the last four days.

she looks like that but her tail is alot longer in the middle of it,

If so then their a pin tail platy.
Their pregnant for around 30 days or so and even with mo males they can store sperm for several months
 
I was thinking pin tail as well once elongation of the middle of the tail was mentioned.
 
could be plume tail also as that has 2-3 extensions in the middle of the fin
