Got one of the flying foxs- Siamese algae eaters from petco.

I'm pretty sure it's a garra, black stripe doesn't extend onto the tail, has some yellow in its fins, and has the gold stripe above the black.

What can I expect?

I had a garra ruffa in my 90g got about 10 in. Not exactly sure what kind you have. Most I believe are fairly active.

I thought you just got ottos.

I did for my 10g.

Got the siamese or whatever for the fuz in my 55

I also got a couple mollies to graze on it

Description would indeed suggest Garra cambodgiensis. There are requirements for very good water current. This data may help.
