I heard that as well as cucumber and lettuce, apple snails can eat other veg, someone told me you can blend up varius veg in a blender and store it in ice cube tray in the freezer. Then just pop a cube in when you want. Is this a good idea?

I don't think that's a good idea - the ice cube would melt fairly quickly leaving a lot of vegtable mulch in the tank.

i freeze veg for them though, like spinach leaves, they prefer it cos it softens them, they dont eat anything fresh, also you bake snails biscuits, by mixing up veggies, with added calcuim, pumpkin is a firm favourate, and then bake them in the oven for a few mins. di

wouldn't all the snails eat the mush though?

I was thinking more along the lines that it would dissipate into the water, especially if it was blended to a pulp first, leaving the water green.
