There is a new product on the market for newts and fish called Flukers freeze dried daphnia. I was wondering is this safe for my betta to eat?

well its its made for fish probally,, but the problem with freez dried is they fish can get sick and constipated from the dried food. i prefer the frozen kind that come in little packaged cubes,, just slice off a little with a knife and then put it in a small toothpaste cup of tank water to warm up and thenpour inthe water to feed fish.

I have never seen frozen daphnia sold here, but now I am going to ask and see if they sell it. My betta loves the frozen blood worm cubes sold here and so does my newt who wont eat the freeze dried daphnia because he only eats food that sinks. So i'll look for the frozen type. Does the frozen daphnia sink when the cube breaks up?
