I would add the dechlorinator for the entire tank, especially if you don't know if you have chloramine in your water. After adding the dechlorinator initially for the entire tank, go ahead and enough to dechlorinate just the amount of water you are replacing in the future.

one last question how heavily do you think i could stock this tank when cycled?
