Well in my 40 gallon tall i have a 20 watt sun glo light. All my plants grow, seem to be very healthy. I add 'Leaf Zone' every monday to my tank. Is this enough light for my tank?

Whenever i got to my LFS's alls i see for my size light are 20 watt lights.

thanks

Josh

Some plants can grow in that light. But IMO I would stay away from red or purple plants. Some green plants can grow well in low lights.

Your tank would be categorised as a low light tank. A normal one is supposed to have 2W/gal.

Its good to hear your plants are growing well. The trick is to get the balance of nutrients, light, carbon, etc right. Its looks like you have :)
