Cycling Advice

Hi guys i have a 90litre tank which i believe is around 35 gallons.i have 3 corys and 2 bristlenose about 4 cm in length.i have had these fish for 6 weeks along with 10 guppies(4)weeks but i sold them 2weeks ago because i noticed some gettin sick.my question is did i screw up buy adding the purigen?will that effect my cycling time?ive seen on some forums alot of products delay cycling.and also how long should i wait before adding crs and will 5 tiny catfish be enuff to cycle a 100litre tank!?

I think the Purigen works similar to granular activated carbon, so no, it would not remove ammonia. And so the cycle should not be slowed.
 
But it's 3 weeks since you posted, so by now maybe you have your answer.
