Cory Cat With No Fins

Hi everyone. I made the mistake of picking up a very sick fish from Petco. Once in the bag and at home, I noticed that his top fin and tail are basically gone. I don't know if something ate them or the water quality caused a bacterial infection. Is there anything I can do to help him bounce bag? Should extra clean water do the trick? (Can do daily water changes if necessary). He doesn't behave any differently from my other cories, though he perhaps breathes a bit heavier.

Good water and time should help him heal up nicely

As above really, excellent water quality, good diet and it should recover just fine.

Thanks everyone! I felt so bad when I saw the little guy. I'm glad I'm able to give him a better home.
