Hi,

There is a few people that have convicts breeding and hybridizing.
But i was wondering what they cam hybridize with?
How many other speices?

Almost any Central American cichlid can hybridize with any other.

Is it only the females? or the males too?

? Well for them to produce hybrid offspring you need a male and female ?

but I think what your asking is, is it just two females that sometimes pair up?
if so then yes, but two Males won't act as a pair

will both male and female ca breed with any ca ?

SA's don't hybridize outside of there genus...so you could have say a hybrid Heros Efaciatus with a Heros Notatus, but you wouldnt get a hybrid between a Heros Efaciatus and a Green Terror etc...

CA's will breed with eachother willingly tho.
