I have set up my betta breeding tank and I have conditioned my bettas for a couple weeks. I heard that you need to keep the tank a little humid for the fry to develop there lyberith(?) organ. Should i have it humid when the breed or not?

I haven't bred any fish yet but I think that you might as well get it humid with or without fry. of course, I really don't know anything though..... :S

Most things I have read say to put plastic wrap tightly over the top so it stays humid.

thanks. I was thinking of just keeping it humid because it has to be like that for the fry anyways so why keep switching it around thanks.

yes it is important to keep it humid, my spawning tank usually steam up like about an hour after i set it upp..

the heater and the light makes it hot so the water evaporates and etc...
