algae

All of a sudden I am seeing algae on my glass, silk plants and driftwoord. What could be causing this? How do I get it under control?

If its common green algae, the best remedy is to reduce your lighting time or even leave the lights off for a week although this may adversly affect any live plants you may have.

A good algae eater like a Bristlenose plec should also clear things up.
