2nd tank

Hello, ive aquired a 2nd tank from my bros gf. so im moving all my lovely platies / neons etc into that cos its a little smaller. So im left with a 30gallon and ponder about what 2 put in it!!

My Thoughts!

1) 1 snakehead ( eats like monster + lovely fish, eye catcher )
2) Malawi Chichlids (L caeruleus) , half a dozen of these
3) puffer + a couple of other fish that will live with it.

your thoughts plz ?

I generally choose my own fish...

what looks good - gets to the required size and wont eat anyone else...

Its all down to personal preferance.

i would say malawi fish, cause im setting up one in my 80 gallon lol,
nar but they are great fish to have and to watch

All 3 are ok choices. But I guess you need to look at each fish and say if I could only have this one fish forever would I get it. I do this every time I buy a fish even if I already got one like it.

im steering towards the snakehead, mainly cos it eats a frozen block of blood worm in 1 gulp - Nasty little preditor. But then i think its a waste of a tank ! Im attracted to Malawi fish aswell, but what eye opener tricks do these do? aggressive eaters? etcetc? can sum1 who has them give sum info, they come in sum lovely colors thou which is why im interested....

Hmm, can 1 spotted puffer go with them ^ ? /me wonders.

The Snakehead / Puffer / Malawi fish are all my favs, so if 2 of them can go in together then that will make my decision. But im sure the snakehead is one to be kept alone but again, any advice from anyone who has one would be superb.
