Odessa Barbs And Shrimp Compatibility?

I have a group of 7 Odessa Barbs in my tank, I was wondering if I added Cherry Shrimp would they get eaten?

Anyone kept odessa barbs with shrimp?

I have x10 young Odessa Barbs and x16 corydoras.

I'm in a similar position, i have 12 x corys and plenty of cherry shrimp, and looking to add odessa barb (or some other barb, not fully decided..)

I asked the question whether the barbs would consume my shrimp and i was told they wouldnt.

I would advise however, to be careful on how you add the shrimp, as it can be seen as food to the barbs when you present them to the tank
