One of the real livebearers (viviparous). Best to keep them in a species tank of combined with sturdy fish. Mine or combined with liberty mollies (Poecilia salvatoris) which is a good combination.
Although, coming from a tropical country, these fish are best kept at lower till moderate temnperatures.

These beautiful guys take their name from theTequila volcano in west central Mexico.
 
Really like the coloration on these fish. They seem well proportioned and robust, are they?
Yes, they are robust in bodyshape.
