Zebra Synodontis Catfish

i saw this fish in my LFS and loved it, iv never even heard of them before. how big do they get and has anyone kept them? my tank is in my sig, would this fish work with what i have? wanted to research this fish before i made an impulse buy. appreciate the help

I'm guessing you are talking about Synodontis nigriventris. Great little fish, pretty peaceful, prefers to be in groups, and stays under 5 inches.

hmm, he may not work, if he is to peaceful he may get bullied

Zebra Synodontis is probably the name for a hybrid...there are lots of them out there and as juveniles they can be hard to guarantee they are not genuine, but with a name like zebra, it's probably something like a young eupterus mixed with something else.
You'd be best getting a picture to confirm, but realistically, if it's a hybrid of eupterus, then you are looking at a fish that will get to 7-8"
